SYNTHESIS Microfest in Miami

23 Skidoo in Miami, AZ pushes the envelope and bumps the bass with a two-night celebration of cutting-edge electronic musical artists imported from all over Arizona. Friday January 17th, synth wizard Mamofish of Prescott, AZ will bring his mesmerizing beats to the stage to kick off the Microfest. Miami’s own Courtney Odom will follow with her glitchy and soulful trip-hop innovations. Northern Arizona’s TBD Crew close the night with irresistible dance grooves that have crowds moving all over Arizona.

Saturday evening fires up with Phoenix goth-positive duo GRACKLZ dropping infectious horror-pop bops. Prescott’s electronic indie-pop duo Dutch Holly follows with their signature blend of hard beats and ethereal jams, and Tempe’s beastly beat-master, ALLHAILPAN will close the Microfest with his esoteric sonic concoctions.

Like Bisbee or Jerome, Miami is a reclaimed mining town finding revitalization in the creative arts. Nestled in the heart of the Superstition Mountains, Miami has become the premier up-and-coming arts oasis in the Copper Corridor region thanks to visionary arts leaders at Miami Artworks which stands at the center of the revitalization effort and next-door to the 23 Skidoo. The proprietors at Miami Artworks and 23 Skidoo have continually led the creative charge toward revitalization of Miami by supporting visual and musical arts with a growing monthly Second Saturdays and the annual Miami Loco Music and Arts Festival that will celebrate its 13th year in 2025. January’s SYNTHESIS Microfest is yet another example of how Miami continues to push creative boundaries and bring new, exciting musical and art experiences to the region.
