Three days after the worldwide release of Persephone’s Picnic, Dutch Holly brings the album home to Prescott for an evening of electronic music, mythology, art, light, shadow, and a little carefully organized descent into the Underworld.
Persephone’s Picnic gathers songs Dutch Holly has developed and transformed through years of live performance into a new album of electronic indie pop, dream-pop atmosphere, synth-driven rhythms, guitars, layered vocals, and cinematic production. On October 17, Jen Juniper and Tres Ikner will perform the album live as the centerpiece of a release party built around some of the same ideas that run through the record: transformation, darkness and light, departure and return.
The evening begins with music by ALLHAILPAN, accompanied by an art/craftivity table, snacks, projections, and an appropriately underworld-adjacent atmosphere.
At 7:45, Meg Bohrman takes us briefly into the mythology behind the evening, exploring the stories of Inanna and/or Persephone and their journeys between worlds—and the ways those stories connect to music concerned with light, darkness, loss, transformation and return.
At 8:00, The Uman Torch – “Hades” arrives to preside over the proceedings, perform, stir up the living, and otherwise prepare the room for its descent.
Then, at 8:30, Dutch Holly performs Persephone’s Picnic.
ALLHAILPAN returns afterward to carry the evening back toward the surface.

About Persephone’s Picnic
Persephone’s Picnic is the new album from Arizona electronic indie pop duo Dutch Holly — Jen Juniper and Tres Ikner.
The record brings together newly recorded versions of songs developed across years of live performance alongside new material from Dutch Holly’s current era. Its sound moves through dream pop, indie electronic, art-pop and new-wave textures, combining synthesizers, guitars, programmed rhythms and layered vocals with songs about perception, transformation, identity, darkness, hope and the peculiar business of being human.
The album arrives worldwide October 14, 2026.
