EXCLUSIVE RELEASE
Until Persephone’s Picnic drops on October 14th, you can only hear Funny Girl (11th Anniversary Edition) here on DutchHolly.com, our BandCamp and our official YouTube channel.

Originally released in 2015, Funny Girl marked the beginning of Dutch Holly as the indie duo we are today. After more than a decade of performing the song live, we returned to the studio—not to remix it, but to record it again with eleven years of growth, experience, and perspective.
Thank you for supporting independent music by listening here first.
Then & Now
Below, you can compare two live performances of Funny Girl recorded nearly a decade apart. We didn’t set out to rewrite the song—only to follow where eleven years of rehearsing, performing, and living had taken it.
Listen. Watch. Compare.
This is one of the earliest live recordings of the newly reinvented looping duo, Dutch Holly, playing Funny Girl live at Firecreek Coffee in Flagstaff AZ in the winter of 2014 just before we recorded Funny Girl as track 1 of the Outlaw EP (released July 2015).
Here’s a performance of Funny Girl at Miami Artworks Courtyard in Miami Arizona in the fall of 2024, nearly 10 years after the looping performance at Firecreek. This is pretty close to the version that we based the 11th Anniversary Edition on.
