Giving Back at Summer Camp Bash

Just two weeks after sharing the stage with Golden Boots and Thee Verduns at Fairweather Social Club, we were back again—but this time wearing two different hats.

Through our events brand, Low Key Organic, we provided live sound for the Summer Camp Bash fundraiser while also performing as Dutch Holly. The event benefited Rise Above the Clouds, a nonprofit organization that supports trauma-informed programs for children in foster care.

It was an honor to contribute however we could. Supporting local music is important to us, but supporting organizations that invest in children and families makes those community events even more meaningful. Thank you to everyone who attended, volunteered, donated, and helped make the evening a success.

“Spirit Eyes” Has Arrived

Our first new release of 2026, “Spirit Eyes,” is finally here.

Rather than releasing it immediately to every streaming platform, we decided to do something a little different. For now, “Spirit Eyes” is available exclusively through our website, Bandcamp, and YouTube.

By offering the song directly to listeners first, we’re able to connect more personally with the people who support independent music. The track will receive its wide streaming release this October as part of our upcoming full-length album, Persephone’s Picnic.

We’ll Be Performing at the Musical Instrument Museum

We’re also excited to announce that we’ve been selected to perform at Celebrating Electronic Music on August 8, 2026, at Phoenix’s renowned Musical Instrument Museum (MIM).

The event brings together electronic music artists from across the Southwest alongside curator talks, instrument demonstrations, beat-making workshops, and live performances celebrating the diversity of electronic music.

We’re honored to be included in the lineup and can’t wait to share our music in one of Arizona’s most unique cultural venues. If you’re planning to attend, we’d love to see you there.

Revisiting Where It All Began

This summer marks eleven years since we released “Funny Girl,” the opening track from our 2015 EP Outlaw.

It wasn’t just another song—it was the very first piece of music we ever released as an electronic indie duo. Before “Funny Girl,” and the Outlaw EP, Dutch Holly had been a band.

Over the past decade, “Funny Girl” has grown with us. After performing it in clubs, at festivals, galleries, and community events throughout Arizona, the live version slowly evolved. New synth textures, guitar loops, and vocal samples gradually became part of the song until the version we played on stage barely resembled the original recording.

We finally decided it was time for the recording to catch up.

On August 4, we’ll release the 11th Anniversary Re-Recorded Edition of “Funny Girl,” capturing the energy and atmosphere that audiences have experienced at our live performances for years.

Like “Spirit Eyes,” this anniversary edition will first be available exclusively through our website, Bandcamp, and YouTube before joining the rest of the streaming platforms this October as part of Persephone’s Picnic.

Looking back over eleven years is both humbling and inspiring. It’s a reminder that songs continue to evolve just like the people who create them.

Release Date Announcement and Album Release Party!

And finally, we have dates for the release of Persephone’s Picnic: October 14th, 2026! We’ve booked The Hazeltine for our album release party on Saturday October 17th: Persephone’s Picnic – Live from the Underworld with Phoenix phenom DJ ALLHAILPAN on the decks and more TBA.

With new music arriving, exciting performances on the calendar, and Persephone’s Picnic getting closer every day, this summer feels like the beginning of a new chapter for Dutch Holly.

Whether you’ve been with us since Outlaw or just recently discovered our music, thank you for following along. Your support makes every recording session, every late night in the studio, and every performance worthwhile.

We can’t wait to share what’s next!
