Hey everyone!
This time next week, Jen and l will be in Miami AZ for Synthesis II, and we’re getting really excited to see you all in person, and share this experience together! Thanks everyone for participating in the promotions and getting the stories and reels (and the Phoenix New Times story) out there on social media. We’ll be making a final push this week with videos of each artist, so keep an eye out.
Accommodations:
As we mentioned previously, we have rented an AirBnb for Friday and Saturday night at 863 W. Vertical Heights in Miami:
Jen and I have separate accommodations downtown, so this is a space for everyone else to use as needed. It’s pretty spacious, sleeps 8, and there are 3 bedrooms (one with bunk beds), 2 bathrooms. Cool views and a firepit, too. There’s an oversized couch and we’re bringing a couple of cots also so even with a full house there should be enough room for everyone. We’ll be there at check-in on Friday to stock it with food and drink. Please let me know if you intend to stay there and what night(s) so that we can plan to accommodate and address any overflow. Also any food allergies or dietary restrictions would be helpful to know. Even if you don’t plan to stay, you may use this as a landing point close to town to de-compress from the road.
We’d like to provide dinner from our favorite local Mexican joint, Guayo’s, so if you’re amenable, have a look at the menu, and let us know what to order for you and we’ll have it there.

With respect to the shows:
- I have received sound requirements from a few of you, thank you. A few of you have played at the venue previously and Lob knows what you need more or less. If you are among those who haven’t already shared your tech requirements, please just send an email/text/DM detailing what you need on stage in terms of inputs and/or mics.
- If you have any type of projection you’d like to use, we are bringing a projector so please arrange with me to share the video files as needed. It won’t necessarily be a flat/rectangular projection, probably more like lighting/texture/vibe.
Sunday Brunch
I will show up at the Artist AirBnB Sunday morning to load out the stuff we brought.
Jen and I have accomodations at Cactus Alley 125 S. Miami Ave. (within walking distance of the venue). After check-out (11AM) on Sunday, we’ll be hosting beats-n-brunch there for anyone who wants to swing by, you’re all invited. In all likelihood, we’ll be hanging out there for afters on Friday and Saturday night as well
